Avalenor

Avalenor, the Stoneheart King, is the mightiest of the mountain aelementals, a colossus of living rock crowned with horns and wreathed in the slow, unbreakable strength of the peaks. He is ancient beyond aelven reckoning, a spirit who measures time in the erosion of mountains, and when he consents to march to war it is a matter of grave significance to all the aelementiri.

In battle Avalenor is an avalanche given purpose, his great hammers falling with force enough to shatter monsters and level fortifications, each stride shaking the earth for hundreds of paces. Among the Lumineth Realm-Lords he is revered as an elder and a guardian, the living embodiment of the Alarith ideal of patience, endurance, and immovable resolve. He speaks rarely, in a voice like grinding stone, and his counsel carries the weight of ages. Where Sevireth is the wild fury of the wind, Avalenor is the certainty of the mountain, and when the two elemental lords fight together the aelementiri believe no foe in all the realms can truly stand before them. To face the Stoneheart King is to be crushed by the patience of the world itself.
