Aqshy, the Realm of Fire, is the searing plane whose ruling wind is the red magic of passion, heat, and courage. It is a land of ash deserts, boiling seas, volcanic mountain chains, and cities built in the shadow of eternal flame, where the air itself can scald the unprepared and tempers run as hot as the ground underfoot.

Aqshy's fire is not merely destructive. The same magic that fuels its wildfires stokes bravery and ambition in those who endure it, and its peoples are famed for their fierce, unbending spirit. The realm was among the first battlegrounds where Sigmar's Stormcast Eternals struck back during the wars of reconquest, descending upon the Brimstone Peninsula to seize the realmgates and break the Chaos hold on the region.

At the heart of the realm's civilisation lies the Great Parch, a scorched continent dotted with free cities and rebuilt bastions of Order. Aqshy is also prized for its forges and its wealth of fire-charged materials, for metal worked in its heat holds enchantments that would fail elsewhere. To live here is to accept that everything worthwhile is tempered, and that a land which burns away weakness leaves only the resilient standing. Many of the boldest heroes of the Mortal Realms trace their origins to its blistered plains.
