The Twin-tailed Comet is the sacred sigil of Sigmar and the most revered omen in all the Mortal Realms, a blazing star trailing two burning tails across the heavens. It first heralded the God-King's mortal ascendancy in ages past, and its return is taken as a sign of divine favour, a promise that Azyr watches over the faithful even in their darkest hour.

Where the comet is sighted, the armies of the stormcast-eternals and the crusading hosts of the cities-of-sigmar take heart, marching forth beneath its emblem emblazoned upon banner and shield. The Dawnbringer Crusades in particular march under its light, seeking to reclaim the wilds in Sigmar's name.

To the enemies of Order, the comet is a hated portent, a herald of the hammer-blows to come. It shines as the eternal reminder that the God-King's vengeance, though it may be slow, will always fall upon those who would drown the realms in ruin.
