Butcher

A Butcher is the gore-slick priest-sorcerer of the Ogor Mawtribes, practitioner of the vile gut-magic the ogors call gastromancy: a repellent, potent tradition that draws its power from the sacred act of eating. Draped in offal and clutching a bloodstained cleaver and a bubbling cauldron, the Butcher divines omens in spilled entrails, brews battle-blessings from rendered fat and swallowed warpstone, and calls down the favour of the Gulping God upon whichever warrior has feasted most impressively. In battle he is no mere caster but a raving butcher-priest, bludgeoning foes with his tools and force-feeding them into his cauldron for fresh sorcery. The ogors treat their Butchers with wary reverence, for a well-fed Butcher can toughen a warrior's hide, boil an enemy's courage, or curse a foe to choke on his own guts. To a Butcher, the whole world is simply ingredients that have not yet accepted their true purpose.
