Retributors

Retributors are the closing argument of the Paladin chambers, warriors sealed in the thickest sigmarite plate and armed with lightning hammers that fall like the verdict of a god. When a Retributor lands a blow of sufficient fury, arcing Starsoul energy tears free in the shape of shrieking celestial beasts that savage everything nearby, so that a single strike may unmake a knot of foes at once.

They are loosed against the enemy's strongest: monsters, war-engines, and champions that lesser warriors cannot so much as scratch. Among the Stormcast Eternals they advance without haste and without doubt, for the lightning hammer answers only to a soul that will not flinch when the giant turns to face it. Where the Retributors pass, the ground keeps the memory in scorched craters, and the proud learn too late that Sigmar saves his heaviest thunderbolts for those who believed themselves too mighty to fall.
