Squig Hoppers

The Squig Hoppers are among the most chaotic and unpredictable warriors of the greenskin hordes, Night Goblins who mount the bounding fungus-beasts known as Cave Squigs and cling on for dear life as the creatures leap wildly across the battlefield. A Squig is little more than a huge fanged mouth on stubby legs, all appetite and fury, and the goblins who ride them have scant control over where their steeds carry them.

Within the Orc and Goblin Tribes, the Squig Hoppers are prized precisely for this uncontrollable menace. When a mob of them comes bounding toward an enemy line, no one, least of all the riders, can predict where they will land, and the sight of scores of ravenous squigs crashing down amid their ranks throws even veteran soldiers into disarray. Those goblins hurled from their mounts often find themselves swiftly devoured for their trouble.

Equal parts weapon and calamity, the Squig Hoppers embody the gleeful anarchy at the heart of greenskin warfare, a living avalanche of teeth and spite hurled headlong at the foes of the Old World.
