The Lord Discordant is a fearsome hybrid of warlord and machine-priest, a master of daemon-engines who rides to war atop a serpentine Helstalker mount. Part sorcerer, part warpsmith, he commands the infernal machines of his warband with an unmatched authority, driving them into battle in a tide of screaming metal.
From his mechanical steed the Lord Discordant wields a mechanised claw and a crackling energy-flail, tearing enemy vehicles apart and siphoning their essence to mend his own daemon-engines mid-battle. His presence drives nearby war-engines into a frenzy, their bound daemons roused to greater savagery by his commanding will. Where he charges, a spearhead of daemonic machinery follows, crushing all before it.
A relatively recent breed of champion among the Chaos Space Marines, the Lord Discordant embodies the deepening bond between Chaos and the machine. He is a herald of a new and terrible age of war, marshalling Helbrutes, Defilers and Maulerfiends into an unstoppable armoured host that grinds the Emperor's servants beneath its iron heel.
