Chosen

Within every warband a hierarchy of savagery holds sway, and the Chosen sit near its summit. They are the survivors, warriors whose ambition, skill and ruthlessness have carried them through wars that killed lesser Chaos Space Marines many times over. To be counted among the Chosen is to have earned the trust, or at least the wary respect, of a Chaos Lord.

They go to war laden with a diverse arsenal, each warrior favouring the weapons that suit his particular appetite for destruction, from paired blades to heavy specialist guns. Their armour is often adorned with the skulls and relics of foes slain across the millennia, marks of prestige in a culture that prizes murder above all.

Deployed as bodyguards, shock troops or the leading edge of an assault, the Chosen are unleashed where victory hangs in the balance. Their veteran cunning and sheer lethality make them a devastating spearhead, and many nurse ambitions of one day carving out warbands of their own.
