Noise Marines

Noise Marines are the living embodiment of the Emperor's Children's descent into sensory oblivion. Their perceptions, once superhumanly keen, have been so thoroughly numbed by centuries of excess that ordinary experience no longer registers at all. Only overwhelming, shattering sensation can pierce their torpor, and they find it in the shriek of their sonic weapons.

These arms are marvels of dark artistry, capable of projecting sound with such intensity that it ruptures flesh, cracks armour, and reduces the mind to screaming ruin. To the Noise Marine, the resulting cacophony is exquisite music, and each battle becomes a concert of destruction to be conducted with obsessive care. They arrange their fire not merely for lethality but for aesthetic effect, savouring the harmonies of pain that ripple through the enemy ranks.

On the battlefield they advance with grotesque theatricality, some bearing weapons fashioned to resemble bizarre instruments, others crooning along with the din they create. Where they walk, the very air becomes lethal, and the last thing many foes hear is the terrible song of the Emperor's Children.
