Arbites Enforcers

When a world's own enforcers are overwhelmed, when a hive erupts into insurrection, a cult crawls into the open, or defiance of the Lex Imperialis threatens to spread, it is the Arbites Enforcers who are unleashed to restore order. These are the Arbitrators, the militant hand of the Adeptus Arbites, and they are no common constabulary but armoured shock troops trained and equipped to shatter resistance that lesser authorities cannot.

Sheathed head to foot in black carapace and enclosing, rebreather-fitted helms, they advance behind walls of suppression shields, driving rioting mobs before them with disciplined brutality. Shotgun-armed squads scour the barricades while shield-bearers lock together into an unbreakable line, and everywhere the crackling power maul falls to sentence the guilty where they stand. They fight as one grinding machine of judgement, giving no ground and offering no quarter to those who have set themselves against the Emperor's law.

An Arbites Enforcer does not think of himself as a soldier so much as an instrument of justice made manifest. Deployed from fortress-precincts that loom over the hives like courthouses turned to war, they arrive where a situation has already passed beyond appeal, and their very presence is the verdict. To face them is to have already been found guilty; all that remains is the sentence, and the Arbites carry it out with cold, relentless efficiency.
