Legion Spartan Assault Tank

The Legion Spartan Assault Tank was a colossal armoured transport, and the Imperial Fists valued it above almost any vehicle in their motor pool for the grim work of the breach assault. Where the Vindicator opened a wall, the Spartan carried the warriors who would exploit it, ferrying a full assault squad or a body of Terminators through the murderous crossfire of a defended gap and disgorging them into the heart of the fortress beyond. Its immense frontal armour and quad lascannon let it advance where lesser transports would be torn apart, shrugging off the concentrated fire that always greeted an attacker at a breach. Rogal Dorn's Legion had made an exacting art of both building and storming fortifications, and the Spartan was the mailed fist of the assault, delivering the VII's disciplined killers intact to the one place a siege was truly decided. Slow, unstoppable, and laden with wrath, it was the siege-master's chosen steed.
