The Trisagion

The Trisagion is a battleship of the Word Bearers, a vessel as much temple as warship, its every corridor turned to the worship of the Ruinous Powers that Lorgar's Legion came to serve. Its name, a thrice-holy hymn, drips with the bitter irony of a Legion that once sang praises to the Emperor and now bends its knee to darker masters. Braziers burn eternally in its naves, and the air hangs thick with incense and the murmur of blasphemous liturgy.

Across its adamantium flanks are graven the eight-pointed star and the ranting scripture of the Urizen, so that the ship itself becomes an instrument of devotion, a sermon written in steel and hurled across the void. Chaplains and dark apostles walk its decks, marshalling not only warriors but the cults and daemon-things the Legion has bound into its service. Where it sails, reality frays and the whispers of the warp grow loud.

In battle The Trisagion does not merely destroy; it consecrates. Every world its guns immolate is an offering, every fleet it shatters a sacrifice laid before the Dark Gods. For the Word Bearers, war is worship and the vessel is their pulpit, carrying the false gospel of Chaos ever deeper into the burning Imperium that spurned their faith.
