Clan Moulder does not forge its weapons; it grows them. In the flesh-pits of its warrens (vast, reeking abattoir-nurseries where the floors are always wet), the master moulders practise a craft part surgery, part sorcery, and wholly abomination, kneading muscle, bone, warpstone, and screaming raw material into shapes never meant to draw breath. What emerges is sold: giant rats by the writhing cage-load, hulking rat ogors, and stranger, costlier horrors bred to a buyer's exact specification.
The packmasters who drive these creations to war are less handlers than living locks, for a Moulder beast knows only hunger and the whip. Their art is prized across the under-empire precisely because it is so hard to steal: any clan can copy a machine, but flesh-shaping demands generations of hoarded technique, and Moulder guards its secrets with a jealousy that has outlasted dynasties. A rival who captures one of its creations captures only a monster he cannot feed, breed, or control. For all its monstrous inventory, Moulder is at heart a house of merchants, and its true genius is the arrangement by which the whole under-empire has come to depend upon it: let other clans covet warpstone and warriors, for Moulder sells the beasts that devour both.

Clan EshinThe clan of shadows: assassins, spies, and gutter runners schooled in silent murder and hired out to the highest bidder. Eshin's killers answer only to their own inscrutable masters, and the mere rumor of their involvement has ended Council feuds before they began.

Their frothing congregations of plague monks march behind censers of billowing filth, spreading contagion as weapon, sacrament, and prayer in one.
Clan SkryreThe warlock engineers of the under-empire, fusing dark sorcery with warpstone-fueled machinery into weapons that obliterate the enemy almost as often as the operator. Skryre workshops sell lightning cannons, poisoned-wind devices, and doomsday engines to every clan wealthy enough to pay, and keep the true horrors for themselves.
