Abhorrant Ghoul King

The Abhorrant Ghoul King is the lord of a single court of the Flesh-eater Courts, a vampire so consumed by the Delusion that he no longer perceives the truth of what he is. Where others see a filth-caked monster gnawing carrion in a bone-strewn warren, the Ghoul King sees a noble monarch presiding over a glittering feast, his ragged ghouls transformed in his eyes into gallant knights and courtiers. This madness is contagious, radiating out to grip every ghoul in his domain, and it is precisely this shared dream that binds the court into an army. In battle the Ghoul King is a whirlwind of talon and fang, striking with the speed and strength of the vampire he remains beneath the delusion, and his royal presence works the surrounding horde into a rapturous, fearless frenzy. He fights not for conquest but to defend the honour of a kingdom that exists only in his ruined mind, and there is no enemy he will not charge to protect the illusion of his crown.
