Morghast Harbingers

The Morghast Harbingers are among the mightiest of Nagash's creations, colossal winged constructs assembled from the bones of the Great Necromancer's oldest and most hated foes. Twice the height of a mortal and armoured in ancient ivory, they take to the air on vast skeletal wings and fall upon the enemy like descending judgement. Where their Archai kin bear soulslayer greatblades and living shields, the Harbingers wield spirit-halberds: reaping weapons that shear through rank and file with every ponderous sweep. Nagash keeps them close, unleashing them to break a stubborn line, slay an enemy champion, or carry his will to some distant corner of the battlefield with terrible speed. They are silent, tireless, and utterly without mercy, and the beating of their wings is a sound the living learn to dread. As harbingers of the Ossiarch Bonereapers, they announce that the Great Necromancer himself has taken an interest in the slaughter.
