The Imperial Gunnery School of Nuln is the foremost seat of artillery learning in the Empire of Man, a sprawling complex of foundries, proving grounds, and lecture halls where the deadly science of black powder is taught, tested, and jealously advanced. From its furnaces come the great cannon, mortars, and Helblaster volley guns that give the imperial armies their thunderous edge over the horrors that beset them.

The school works in close and often prickly concert with the Engineers' Guild, sharing many masters and no small rivalry.
