Lord of Change

The Lord of Change is the mightiest daemon of Tzeentch, an enormous, bird-headed being whose plumage shifts through impossible colours and whose eyes gleam with knowledge no mortal mind could survive. As the greatest servant of the Architect of Fate, it is the supreme sorcerer of the daemonic legions, capable of unleashing devastating magic and of manipulating the very threads of destiny to its master's ends.

Unlike the Bloodthirster, which seeks the joy of open slaughter, a Lord of Change wages war through guile. It commands hosts of Tzeentchian daemons while weaving spells of confusion, mutation, and raw warp-fire, and it delights in maneuvering its enemies into traps sprung long before they realised a battle had begun. So vast is its understanding of probability that it often knows the outcome of a conflict before the first blow is struck. Even when seemingly bested, a Lord of Change may be executing a deeper plan, for in the endless game of the Changer of the Ways, no move is ever truly wasted, and no defeat is ever quite what it appears.
