Seekers of Slaanesh

Seekers are the fleet cavalry of Slaanesh, Daemonettes borne into battle upon the sinuous Steeds of Slaanesh. The steeds are creatures of unearthly speed, their long serpentine bodies undulating above two powerful, bird-like legs as their hides shimmer through soft blues, pale purples and gentle ochres. Warriors who have faced them name them Tongue Lashers, for each steed conceals a monstrous, whip-like tongue that flicks out to ensnare and drink the very souls of those it touches.

These mounts are not given but taken. A Daemonette must steal upon a wild steed unawares and snare it with a chain of fine gold or silver, weathering the fury of its lashing tongue and kicking claws until, by cruel patience, she gentles the beast to her will. Once tamed, steed and rider become the swiftest hunters in the Dark Prince's legions, the vanguard of his Hunter Kabals that races ahead of the main host to run down the fleeing and the broken. No mortal can outpace them; the Seekers overtake their quarry with obscene grace, the Daemonettes shearing with their claws while the steeds' toxic tongues lash out to taste each stolen soul.
