Interemptor Squad

The Interemptor Squad answers the First Legion's need to burn an enemy from an entrenched position, jump-pack raiders armed with volatile plasma weaponry too unstable for line units to bear. Descending on plumes of fire, they wash trenches, bunkers, and armoured columns in searing plasma discharge, indifferent to the risk that their own overtaxed weapons might immolate them mid-strike.

Drawn into the orbit of the Dreadwing's doctrine of destruction, the Interemptors embody the Legion's willingness to trade its own warriors for certainty of results. Their assaults are swift, ferocious, and often suicidal, aimed at objectives that must fall no matter the cost in ceramite and gene-forged flesh. During the Heresy, commanders who could not be dislodged by conventional means learned to dread the shriek of Interemptor jump packs overhead, the last sound many of them ever heard before the plasma fell and the world turned white.
