Kakophoni

The Kakophoni raise the Emperor's Children obsession with sensation to a weapon of war, wielding sonic armaments that shred flesh and shatter resolve with waves of tortured sound. Their weapons, the shrieking sonic blasters and the massive blastmaster, are as much instruments as armaments, and the legionaries who bear them come to hear a terrible music in the destruction they unleash. The very air becomes a battlefield when the Kakophoni open fire.

Born from the Legion's fall into Slaaneshi excess, these warriors are less soldiers than performers, orchestrating carnage as though conducting a symphony written in agony. During the Heresy their advance heralded a wall of sound that liquefied armour and burst the senses of any mortal caught in its path, breaking defenders before the Legion's blades ever reached them. To the Kakophoni, the noise of slaughter is beautiful, and they pursue ever greater crescendos of destruction with the devotion of true artists lost to their craft.
