Flamers of Tzeentch

The Flamers of Tzeentch are capering horrors of living flame, bounding across the battlefield on stumpy legs beneath long, waving arms that end not in hands but in gaping maws of magical fire. From these they spew crackling gouts of many-coloured flame, a sorcerous fire that burns without heat yet consumes flesh, armour, and soul alike, twisting and mutating whatever it touches. Flamers move in an absurd, hopping gait that belies their deadliness, giggling and gabbling in the shrill tongue of Tzeentch as they rain destruction upon the foe from range. The fires they conjure are unpredictable things, changeable as their master, searing one victim to ash and merely warping another into a gibbering ruin. As creatures of pure change, they flicker in and out of solidity, hard to pin down and harder still to slay. A cackling line of Flamers can reduce a regiment to smouldering, mutated wreckage before a single blow is landed.
