Lord of Change

The Lord of Change is the greatest daemon of Tzeentch, a towering, avian horror of iridescent plumage and terrible cunning that embodies the Changer of the Ways at his most subtle and most dangerous. Its every feather blazes with impossible colour, and behind its predatory eyes turns an intellect vast enough to read the threads of fate and pluck them like harp-strings. It is among the mightiest sorcerers in all creation, hurling coruscating spells that warp flesh, twist minds, and rewrite the very rules of the battlefield.

Yet its magic is the least of the danger, for a Lord of Change fights wars that span lifetimes, and any single battle is to it merely one move in a scheme of bewildering depth. It may hand the enemy a victory that serves some purpose only it perceives, or bend the course of a war toward an end its allies never imagined. Cunning beyond mortal reckoning and armed with sorcery beyond mortal defiance, it is Tzeentch's design given wings, and it is always, always several moves ahead.
