Sylandri Veilwalker

Sylandri Veilwalker is a Shadowseer of uncommon power and mystery, a Player whose true masque and origins none can say for certain. She walks the Hidden Ways of the webway as though she owns them, appearing where she is least expected and departing before questions can be asked, her purposes known to Cegorach alone. Some believe she serves as an emissary of the Laughing God himself, sent to nudge the schemes of lesser beings toward the ends her master desires.

As a Shadowseer, Sylandri is a mistress of illusion and misdirection, cloaking herself and her allies in veils of unreality, bending the perceptions of the enemy until they cannot tell friend from foe or truth from phantom. Her voice carries the weight of prophecy, and those who travel in her company learn quickly to heed her cryptic counsel, for she sees threads of fate that others cannot.

She has appeared at the side of many an Aeldari host in its hour of need, guiding warriors through the webway to battles they did not know they were meant to fight. Always she vanishes once her purpose is served, leaving her erstwhile companions to wonder whether they were allies or merely players in a performance she alone understood.
