Aquilon Custodians

The Aquilon pattern is a marvel of the armourer's art, a suit of Terminator plate so intricate and so resource-hungry that only the Adeptus Custodes could ever field it in number. Encased within this magnificent war-harness, the Aquilon Custodians become nigh unstoppable, able to shrug aside firepower that would obliterate lesser warriors and to press their advance through killing zones that no other troops could survive. They are the mailed fist of a Custodian host, deployed where the fighting is thickest and the need for raw resilience greatest.

Their wargear matches the splendour of their armour. In close quarters they strike with solerite power gauntlets or the rending solerite talons, weapons capable of tearing through tank and monster with contemptuous ease. At range they bring to bear heavy relic armaments, from the storm of a lastrum bolt cannon to the searing lance of an infernus firepike, so that no foe is safe whether it stands near or far.

Often the Aquilon translate directly into the fray, materialising amid the enemy in a blaze of teleportation to fall upon a foe that believed itself secure. Wherever they appear, they anchor the Custodian line and shatter whatever stands against it, an embodiment of the truth that the Emperor's guardians are not merely the finest warriors in the galaxy but among its most unbreakable.
